Good morning!
It’s Wednesday, and we’re looking at a very wise tree that stands at the top of a hill that was blasted open by humans so that a road could pass through it.
The tree has a magnificent view of the impressive new bridge that carries us across the Penobscot Narrows and back toward land I truly consider home. As soon as our wheels reach the other side, I can feel my body relax.
Conversely, this tree is the last friend to whom I say “goodbye” before I really consider my journey underway.
And a journey is, indeed, underway—from one heart’s home to another, from one place of comfort to another. As always and without question, you’re coming too.
All of that is ahead of us. For now, we’ve simply waved goodbye to our very wise tree and set our wheels in motion.
“If I look back I am lost.”

Ever onwards we go,

This is an unusual picture for me. It has left me with questions of wonder...
Oooh, I love that bridge with all of its exposed geology! And I love a mystery trip. Safe travels to other lands.
