Gorgeous grapefruit and perfect quote.

If that’s P-D I am envious!!! Nothing better than “Texas Pinks”, as my grandfather in Montana called them in the early decades❣️

Thank you for this post! Just a heads up, I didn’t receive this via email today. I had to access it direct through Substack. I had the same issue with another Substack subscription, too. Maybe they changed a setting? Or maybe it’s a glitch…. Just thought I’d let you know.

I have had nothing but glitches for quite awhile. None of us has ever been able to figure it out. Clara’s respite is worth it. God luck! (Hope it was a onetime only 🤞)

Grapefruit always make me wonder how people eat them. Cut in half seems right to me. But then I cut each section out individually. We had those little spoons with teeth on the ends for grapefruit growing up. I watched my wife absolutely massacre a grapefruit the other day, squeezing the mashed up bits into a bowl and eating the lot with a spoon. I don’t know how we are even married.

Those grapefruit spoons! My MIL had them as grapefruit was a winter breakfast staple. But, heaven help you if you accidentally got one of those spoons at a regular meal and didn't realize....

That was one thing that endeared me to Clare - she cuts out each section. When I saw that, I knew we'd be ok. 🤣

That is sooo smart! I’d love to have a citrus shipment land on my doorstep!

I miss grapefruit so much! Banned from my diet now!!! Delicious! The quote is humor , not banned from my diet!

Great quote, gave me a chuckle. Also liked learning that citrus can be ordered and received every 2 weeks.

They look good enough to eat through the screen! Yum!

How delicious! And so well timed. A grapefruit a day keeps the scurvy away. LOL

Great pic. Reminds me of my grandfather, he had half a grapefruit with his tea every morning. Sweet memories.

Great quote! Nothing like a piece of Texas Ruby Red Grapefruit to make you sit up and take notice!
