Good morning!
It’s Tuesday. Yesterday morning I went down to rescue a young turkey who’d gotten stuck in the garden, having forgotten that it knew how to fly. Its mother was deeper in the woods yelling what I can only assume was turkeyspeak for “I’m right here, just flap your wings!”
With a little coaxing, babe flapped her wings and discovered she could, indeed, fly right over the garden fence and to freedom.
Meanwhile, my precious onions, whose green tops had been perky and vigorous just a few days ago, had firmly flopped to the ground. Almost three months to the day I planted them, they were ready to fledge.

I often think of these daily writings as Your daily “uplift” - moreso today. And add from Mary Oliver: “If you suddenly and unexpectedly feel joy, don’t hesitate. Give into it. . . whatever it is, don’t be afraid of its plenty. Joy is not made to be a crumb.” - Mary Oliver
We all need a little more encouragement to get on with life .
