Today is Saturday, and it is now August. We’ve reached the “odd uneven time” as Sylvia Plath called it.

I’ve been saving my favorite find for today so that you could enjoy it at your own Saturday kind of pace. It’s about Amber Share, a graphic designer who makes stunningly bold and beautiful posters of the national parks here in the United States.

But here’s the catch: She takes her inspiration from real one-star reviews of the parks that people have left online. Her Instagram account is fittingly called SubparParks.

Nevermind that @mountrainiernps is the most topographically prominent mountain in the lower 48.... so prominent in fact that locals refer to it as THE mountain. I've seen bigger. One star.⁠
